Volunteers preparing meals for Neighbors' Night

Feeding our neighbours since 1987

Neighbors' Night

Dear Lord, help us to be the hands of love tonight. Let us be your hands reaching out to families needing that extra help. To children and families whom the only opportunity to see your face might be through us tonight.

About Neighbors' Night

Neighbors' Night was launched in 1987, designed to reach out to the young neighbours of our church in downtown Geneva and share God's love. After COVID we got creative with how we share God's love in the community — we now deliver food and a "goody bag" to each family. One of the benefits is that now all of the family can enjoy a hearty meal together.

Generous volunteers make this programme a fun, safe, and loving outreach. Led by James Trowbridge and Nate Abbott, adult volunteers lovingly prepare the food and goody bags and deliver them to our neighbours.

Who Can Participate?

  • Open to families with children, from infants up to age 18.
  • Wednesday evening deliveries start around 4:45 PM until all families have received their meals and goody bag.

Get Involved

We are always looking for volunteer drivers and cooks. If you'd like to help, please contact us or speak with a volunteer on Sunday.
