Christian Education

Learning Together in Faith

St. Peter's offers Christian education for all ages every Sunday. Children's, youth, and adult classes all take place after the 10:00 AM service.

Godly Play (Grades K–5)

Each Sunday, following the Gospel reading, children in Grades K–5 are invited to the front of the church where the rector offers a brief, interactive children's sermon. Godly Play classes meet after the service.

Children have an innate sense of the presence of God. The Godly Play approach helps them to explore their faith through story, to gain religious language, and to enhance their spiritual experience through wonder and play. Based on Montessori principles and developed using a spiral curriculum, the Godly Play method serves children through early, middle, and late childhood and beyond.

St. Peter's Godly Play class meets upstairs in the Godly Playroom, above the Parish Hall.

Youth Group (Middle & High School)

St. Peter's youth group gathers middle and high school students for fellowship, faith formation, and service. The group meets regularly throughout the year for activities, discussions, and community projects — a welcoming space for young people to grow in faith together.

Teen Christian Education

Older youth are invited to a class after the Sunday service that explores questions of faith, scripture, and Christian living in an open, conversational format. All perspectives are welcome.

Adult Forum

Each week, adults gather in the Parish Hall after the 10:00 AM service to share in fellowship and conversation. Topics include scripture study, current events, parish history, and guest speakers. All parishioners and guests are encouraged to participate.
